As written about earlier (here and here) the spare bedroom was an atrocious purple with lots of unsealed nail holes, lots of embedded screws in the walls and extra phone jacks we don’t need. If the room was not going to become a spare guest room/reading space/etc and the purple had been a prettier hue, we might have kept the color, but since none of that applies, I have learned how to paint textured interior walls.
Here are four pics to show the work in progress.
First we have a speckled wall.
Next the edges have been primed.
And then a full coat of primer up on the same area.
Final priming done.
I’m now finally ready to actually paint the room a less awful color.
