Back when we were making the great room great, Agent Smith rigged up a way to hang a light out over the sitting area using a steel rod and some cable stays. The fixture itself was a basic thing he found at Lowe’s or Home Despot, and I said back then we might eventually replace it. Last year the same trick put a vintage resin globe light over the dining table and the result is rather epic.
Back in 2022 I came across some crystal globe pendants in a store, and we both thought they might work. But we decided to wait for the “right” find.
Then I found it at Clarks Auctions: a spun lucite globe in green that totally matches the great room tile!
