Once everything was out of the studio and the materials for the new floors arrived, it was time to get to work.
1. First the old tile in the main room was pulled out.
2-3. Then all the carpet tiles that covered the rest of the floors upstairs and downstairs.
4-6. The closet doors in the upstairs loft were removed in preparation as well.
Then the tile guy arrived and started to prep the floors, first with a sealer and then the base.
And would you believe I actually found a home for all those old carpet tiles? Well I did! Someone came and took almost all of them away thanks to the Nextdoor classifieds.
