Our road is a private one–not maintained by the county but by the collective group of home owners who live off it. We have no idea who manages this or how, but I’m sure we’ll eventually find out. The road was built in the mid- to late-1960s by the Doc and originally was unsealed. If we remember correctly, Doc had a TD-24 and he used it to put in the roads here and level the pads for many of the other homes later built on the surrounding hills.
