Another of the eyesores on the property was a small three-sided stable built on the south side of the property. It too dates back to the original owners and while the roof was in good shape, the same could not be said for the rest of the structure.
Two weeks ago, while I was laid up in bed with the nasty plague, Agent Smith and his dad dismantled it.
They managed to get it all down in one day. All the way down to the quasi-foundation:
They sorted the debris and made some piles. Some of it is being used to redo the yard fence (about which there will be another post) and the un-useful debris will go in the dumpster that arrived today.
The next day, it was time to build a fence. Now when you look up the hill side, you no longer see the derelict building. Of course the big stable, which we are going to keep, will soon need attention.
