Our plum tree in San Francisco apparently does not want us to move, as we are harvesting a bumper crop this year. We have so many plums filling up the fridge that I’ve started pitting and freezing gallon-bags worth and bringing them to store in the pantry freezer at the new place. I will, as usual, make jam from them, but with all the other projects going on, it will be a while before I am ready for that messy job.
