Our plum tree in San Francisco apparently does not want us to move, as we are harvesting a bumper crop this year. We have so many plums filling up the fridge that I’ve started pitting them, freezing them in gallon bags and bringing them to store in the pantry freezer at the new place. I will, as usual, make jam from them, but with all the other projects going on, it will be a while before I am ready for that messy job.
