Continuing from the previous post–once the demo work was done, the crew laid in some drain pipe, while avoiding the existing electrical runs out to the courtyard lights and the studio building. Then it was time to lay the new pavers and get to the plantings.
Laying the pavers required marking things out, putting down base rock, compacting it and laying funky, putty-like cement stuff before finally laying out the pretty pavers.
After a lot of work, it was finally time to plant things and lay in the irrigation. Here are some photos just after all that was done.
