Replacement floorboards covering register hole in Stega's office

Click-Lock

Posted on June 29, 2020April 30, 2024 By stega

While the teak repairs were happening here, another guy who specializes in repairing and installing the type of flooring we have in the blue room and my office came out to handle the repairs of those spaces.

Technically, though, they weren’t “repairs,” as it wasn’t damage we wanted to address, but the fact that we no longer needed the holes where there were once working furnace ducts. As mentioned a few posts back, thanks to a friend in Chicago and Craigslist, I now had plenty of fresh boards, so it took the guy just over a day to make all the holes go away.

Then it was just a matter of pushing things back to where they belong, and my office was once again back to normal.

Which, considering what was in store the following week and more, was a very good thing.
