Purgatory

Click — Lock

While the teak repairs were happening here, another guy who specializes in repairing and installing the type of flooring we have in the blue room and my office came out to handle the repairs of those spaces.

While technically not truly “repairs” as it wasn’t damage we wanted to address but the fact that we no longer needed the holes where there were once working furnace ducts. As mentioned a few posts back, thanks to a friend in Chicago and Craigslist, I now had plenty of fresh boards, so it took the guy just a day and a bit to make all the holes go away.

Then it was just a matter of pushing things back to where they belong and my office was once again back to normal.

Which, considering what was in store the following week and a bit, was a very good thing.
