Mystery Plaque
In the category of strange and unusual findings here at Purgatory: this little plaque was once affixed to one of the lights that ring the driveway. We have no idea the significance. Any guesses are appreciated.
It says
“Dennis Campbell
Leonard Farmer
‘And Then There Was Light’
March ’89”
We’re also working on renovating the three smaller lights. The previous owners replaced the glass at some point with plastic. As you can see in the featured image some of the plastic is discolored and several have actually broken up into little bits. We plan on having new glass panels cut and installed in a simple but pretty frosted glass. I must admit with all the massive projects we’ve been working on, having a smaller task to complete is most welcome.
