A mini-story. Back when I first started buying stuff from auction houses, I found a gorgeous steel wall sculpture. It went for more than I was willing to pay and I kicked myself for not going a bit above my limit, as I might have gotten it for just a wee bit more.
Fast-forward to a few months after I’d found the metal circle art for the great room downstairs for next to nothing, I found something that would suit the space and our eclectic style better.
Hanging the new bird art wasn’t nearly as difficult as we anticipated, and now the only caveat is that if you sit on the couch, you should watch where you lean your head, as that bottom wing is quite jagged.
And for those interested, the artist is a metal sculptor named John Richen.
