Small projects often occupy my time. Often times it’s a case of make it and forget it, but I do usually take pictures.
Like this cute little Mario-based keychain I made for a Reddit gift exchange.
Other gift exchange projects turned an old cribbage board into something a bit prettier, a glass yogurt cup into a Robert Pattison votive candle holder and a wee metal box into something a bit prettier.
Then there are the masks I make. Using feathers the boys drop I craft these for various non-profits that raffle them off to raise funds.
When it’s cold out I like to plop down on the couch in my office and crochet. I’m oh so slowly working through the drawers of yarn I have squirreled away. Lately I have been making scarves which I give to various non-profits to help raise funds.
Occasionally I do make things for myself, even if it is just a simple cover for my rolling toolbox turned sewing basket — to which Agent Smith bolted some spare storage bins for even more organizational zen. Best of all the cover matches the curtain I crafted for my office.
