When writing the last post I realized I should create an update on the pepper trees we planted several years ago. For a quick refresher, here’s images of when we first planted them:
And now, pics of them from last winter. One thing to note: there are three trees in the pic on the right below. The one in the foreground on the left was used by a deer to remove their antlers and we thought it wouldn’t recover, but it has.
Finally, here’s a shot of the trees from today. As you can see, the trees have grown a lot; we’re quite pleased. If you look really, really closely, you can just make out a little twiggy tree just to the right of the barn owl box. That’s the tree I mentioned was growing out of one of the bathtubs in the north garden in the previous post.
