In mid-August of 2019 our regular house painter slotted some time to come up and paint the great room. There was much prep work to be done as the the old return vents for the furnace had been patched but the texture needed a bit of work. On top of that we made the decision to delete the sconce lights from the great room as they were not only ugly, but they cluttered up the walls and Agent Smith had better ideas for getting light into the room at night. We also had already deleted the old thermostat for the south end of the house, but now we also removed the original phone jack in the north corner of the downstairs area.
