Agent Smith has been slowly working on making the space inside the garage more useful. Since the garage is regularly used for building race cars and fixing various things, this means the revamp happens in spurts.
For instance a while back we bought some large metal shelves that hold a great deal of stuff (mainly race car bits.) Over the last few months we’ve slowly worked to make better use of the new storage space.
Then a few weeks ago he set about making better use of the back wall which is currently taken up with cabinets.
After removing the awful closet doors and the exterior laminate covering that wood framing Agent Smith discovered that the structure is actually well put together and so he mounted some lights on the ceiling and now has a small and brightly lit work area. This is very useful for doing any fiddly work as the general lighting in the garage is rather poor after dark.
