Not a lot of updates this past winter as I was trying to stay positive in the face of neverending rain and wind. It wasn’t just the rain though; the delays all last summer and fall on the part of the Santa Clara County Department of Planning’s vindictive and inept staff, plus a huge batch of annoying neighbors, and the result is only a handful of projects that were finished.
But then the rains eased, and suddenly it has been nothing but go-go-go. Many projects have been completed now, and there is much news to share.
I wasn’t idle while waiting for the county or the weather though; a lot of small, artsy projects were tackled over the last year. Like this fun project I completed while sitting at my computer: I took various shots taken over the year of the birdbath just outside my office and created a jigsaw puzzle, a copy of which was then auctioned off by the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory last year. I kept a second copy for us and we had a lot of fun assembling it before passing it on to my parental units. (At some point I may have more copies made, but I would need a good reason, like helping fundraise for a non-profit.)
So stay tuned as more and more posts are coming very soon.
