In addition to the Radical mentioned a while back, we also took ownership of a big enclosed trailer during the pandemic. We bought a small flatbed trailer right after we closed on this place and it still gets used, but the team needed something a bit roomier with space for tools and spare bits. This fit the bill, and as an added bonus, this big boy can be used as shelter when the team is off at the races.
Here are some early shots.
Here’s a couple shots of the flatbed trailer, including one next to the new enclosed one to give a sense of their sizes.
Since the trailer came to us, Agent Smith has been slowly upgrading bits and fixing a few things. So far he has modernized the electrical, which involved adding solar panels to the roof and allowing it to be powered by 110V off the RV. He also added an a YETI 400 inverter to provide standalone 110V and USB charging. Then he installed LED lights, reinforced the saggy floor and replaced the original tire rack.
Here are some shots of the inside as of the writing of this post.
