While there is still plenty of house/land stuff to keep us busy, sometimes it’s nice to have a scheduled activity to allow us to relax and take stock. The latest such endeavor for me was taking part in the SCVAS.org (Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society) yearly Birdathon. I have so far joined two teams, one of which is the Foolish Flamingos, whose mission statement is “taking photos of the ARTIFICIAL representations of birds you find.”
So on April 1, 2021, I took pics of all the “birds” here at the ranch. Here they are with general location, source, and any other pertinent info.
